General municipal elections in Saskatchewan are held every four years, or through a by-election should a vacancy on Council occur.
The next municipal election is scheduled for November 13, 2024.
The Nomination Period runs from September 24 to October 9, 2024.
The Town Office will provide additional information regarding nomination packages, advanced polls, voting locations, etc. closer to election time.
Eligibility
Municpal candidates must be:
- 18 years of age on election day;
- a Canadian citizen;
- eligible to be nominated as provided for in The Local Government Election Act;
- a resident of Saskatchewan for at least 6 consecutive months prior to submitting the nomination paper;
- a resident of Gravelbourg for at least 3 consecutive months prior to submitting the nomination paper.
