Friendly reminder that wood that looks like 👇️ (painted/treated, full of nails) should go to the Transfer Station or a landfill, NOT the compost pile. Rectifying improper disposal costs Public Works time and resources and is a waste of our tax dollars.
Clean wood and branches

Elm and clean wood larger than 4” in diameter

Leaves, grass clippings, soil, subsoil, small vegetation
➡️Compost Pile
Contractor/renovation waste
➡️ Transport to landfill or rent a receptacle
