The ice plant is the heart of La Palestre. It keeps both our arena ice and curling rink running and ready for everyone who uses them. Our current system is getting older, more expensive to maintain, and relies on R22 refrigerant, which is being phased out.

 

We’re looking at modern, more efficient options and will be sharing information, updates, and what we’re learning along the way. Keeping our rink and curling ice going strong for the community is important to us, and we’re committed to finding the right path forward.
